School News

We have dedicated this page to keeping you informed of all things new and noteworthy at St. Kieran Catholic School. While you’re here, be sure to check out our newsletters at the side of the page. Please also visit our Calendar page for important dates to remember for the school year.

Re-registration

Registration is in full swing. The deadline to register without penalty is June 9. If you need more time, let the office know. Otherwise, there is a $250 fee for late registration.

The registration process in FACTS is very specific and requires you to pay very close attention to all requried items. One thing families have been missing is making sure they upload both completed pages of the returning family financial agreement.

Then login to your current FACTS account. Do not create a new one if you already have one. If you haven't had a FACTS account, sign up for a new one. If you are not planning to re-enroll, please do us the courtesy of letting the office know.

There was great teamwork and perseverance by this team to bring home the trophy for Saint Kieran!

Volunteers are needed to sell scrip (gift cards) after Mass on Saturday nights (5:00 p.m.) and Sunday mornings (8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.). This is an easy way to earn service hours. It’s also a great way to help you meet your scrip obligation. If you sell to someone who does not need the credit, you may put your name down as the person to receive the credit from the sale. Please email Colleen Gilbert or phone (619) 944-7409 to let her know which Mass you are available for. No experience is necessary; Colleen will train you on how to sell the scrip.

Volunteering

Don't forget to log your hours in SchoolSpeak. It's easy and gives you a tuition discount for the next school year.

  1. Log into SchoolSpeak.
  2. Click on "Service Hour Tracker" on the left-hand side.
  3. Scroll down the page to "Submit Entries."
  4. Enter the date, select the task, and how many hours.
  5. Click Add.

That's it! A report will be sent to you for each quarter.
