A Message from Our Principal
May 2025
Dear St. Kieran Families and Prospective New Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming academic year, I would like to inform you that St. Kieran is now accepting applications for enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year. Please check out our school interest section to read about the application process. We also invite you to consider a school tour to visit our tranquil and scenic campus located at the top of Olive Hills in East County. St. Kieran is fully accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).
St. Kieran is excited to announce that 100% of our eighth-grade class of 2025 will continue their Christian education on to high school. Our eighth-grade young ladies and gentlemen are so excited to have received their admittance letters and will spread their wings out across the county to the following: Cathedral Catholic, Saint Augustine, Mater Dei, Our Lady of Peace, Christian High, and St. Therese Academy.
Our eighth-grade scholars are presenting their Capstone projects. The Capstone project is a comprehensive digital portfolio created by each eighth-grade scholar to showcase their culminating academic and intellectual experiences at St. Kieran through critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving and communication. The Capstone projects will be presented to families in May.
Why Choose St. Kieran:
At St. Kieran, we provide a high-quality education in a nurturing and Christian based environment. We are excited to celebrate a love for learning and a love for Jesus:
- Engaged and Credentialed Teachers committed to student success.
- A rigorous academic curriculum to include religion.
- Opportunities for extracurricular involvement, including clubs, sports, and programs.
- A community built upon family core values.
- State-of-the-art facilities and resources to support student learning and growth.
- STEAM Innovation Center to foster creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Parent Involvement every step of the way.
- Partnership with St. Kieran Parish
St. Kieran Catholic School is filled with the love of Jesus. We are so blessed to participate in weekly Mass, First Friday Adoration, Special Masses devoted to Feast Days, Blessings of the Animals, Advent, Lent, Stations of the Cross, and monthly school-wide Rosary. Our Pastor, Fr. Ben, is dedicated to our spiritual well-being and the teachings of Christ. St. Kieran Catholic school is unique in that our church parishioners are dedicated to supporting our school.
We believe in a rigorous academic experience for every child to thrive and to reach their full potential. Communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and Catholic values are the heart of an educational and spiritual program. Our scholars have an important role and legacy to carry once they move on to high school and college. Our Catholic young ladies and gentlemen scholars have a critical role to proclaim and to carry out their mission and beliefs as taught through the Gospel and Scriptures.
Thank you, St. Kieran families, for your support and dedication to Catholic education. We greatly appreciate you!
