A Message from Our Principal

Dear St. Kieran Families and Prospective New Families,

As we begin the 2026–27 enrollment process for the coming year, our team is joyfully preparing for an exciting year ahead. I am pleased to announce that St. Kieran Catholic School will be accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year in January 2026, with limited openings based on grade availability.

We invite you to explore our Facebook and Instagram pages to experience the vibrant life of our school community—and to see for yourself why families across East County call St. Kieran a true hidden jewel. This year, we proudly celebrate 65 years of educating children spiritually, academically, and morally. Six and a half decades of tradition, excellence, and faith have shaped who we are today.

To learn more, please visit the school inquiry section on our website for information about our inquiry process and grade-level availability. We also warmly welcome your family to schedule a personalized tour of our peaceful, scenic campus at the top of Olive Hills. St. Kieran is fully accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA)—a testament to our long-standing commitment to excellence.

We are incredibly proud of our 8th-grade class of 2025, who entered high school this year with enthusiasm, determination, and a strong foundation in faith and academics. Every graduate—100%—continued their Catholic education into high school. Their success reflects the heart of St. Kieran.

Our class of 2026 is already preparing for their capstone projects—an innovative digital portfolio that showcases each scholar’s growth in collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and academic achievement. These projects, presented to families in May, truly highlight the strength and depth of a St. Kieran education.

Why Families Choose St. Kieran Catholic School:

When you choose St. Kieran, you choose a school community where every child is known, loved, challenged, and supported. We provide a high-quality education in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment that blends academic rigor with spiritual formation.

At St. Kieran, your child will thrive through:

  • Engaged, credentialed Teachers committed to student success.
  • A rigorous academic curriculum enriched by daily religion and faith experiences.
  • Extracurricular programs, clubs, and athletics that promote leadership and joy.
  • A strong family-centered community built on shared values and service.
  • State-of-the-art learning spaces, including our STEAM Innovation Center.
  • A focus on creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking across grade levels.
  • Meaningful parent involvement and partnership in student learning.
  • A close and joyful connection with St. Kieran Parish.

Faith is the heartbeat of our campus. Our students participate in weekly mass, First Friday Adoration, Feast Day celebrations, Blessing of the Animals, Advent and Lenten traditions, Stations of the Cross, and monthly school-wide Rosary. Our pastor, Fr. Ben, along with our devoted parish community, plays an integral role in nurturing the spiritual development of every child.

We believe deeply in helping each scholar reach their fullest potential—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. The skills developed at St. Kieran prepare them not only for high school and college but for a life rooted in purpose, compassion, leadership, and faith.

To our current families: thank you for your unwavering support of Catholic education. To our new families: we look forward to welcoming you into our St. Kieran family, where love, learning, and faith flourish every day.

Thank you to our 2025–2026 PTG Board.
