A Message from Our Principal

September 1, 2024

Dear St. Kieran Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year. St. Kieran Catholic School is entering its 64th year. This is exceptional. It speaks to the quality education, dedication of families, parish, and the ability to sustain the longevity. Christ is truly at work. We are a small, quaint campus where everyone knows everyone.

Welcome new families! Our kindergarten is thriving this year with nineteen adorable children. Each of our grade levels are welcoming new faces to our Catholic community. We know parents have a lot of choice, and that is why we are grateful to you for choosing our mighty Catholic school. The family handbook, calendar, and uniform information are located on our website for your review. It is password protected, and we have sent families access information.

We have several new faculty members joining our school community and others taking on new roles. Please welcome:

  • Mrs. Kathleen Lang, First grade
  • Mrs.  Cami Danos, Fifth grade
  • Mrs. Aileen Chapman, Middle school math/science
  • Mrs. Jeandark Putris, Middle school religion/history
  • Mr. Miguel Gutierrez, Physical education
  • Ms. Emily Perez, STEAM
  • Mrs. Rhiannon Meshot, Kindergarten
  • Mrs. Jeanine Crist, a.m. morning care & supervision

St. Kieran Catholic School is filled with the love of Jesus. We are so blessed to participate in weekly Mass, First Friday Adoration, special Masses devoted to Feast Days, Blessings of the Animals, Advent, and Lent. Our Pastor, Fr. Ben, is dedicated to our spiritual well-being and the teachings of Christ. St. Kieran Catholic school is unique in that our church parishioners are dedicated to supporting our school.

We believe in a rigorous academic experience for every child to thrive and to reach their full potential. Communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and Catholic values are the heart of an educational and spiritual program. Our scholars have an important role and legacy to carry once they move on to high school and college. Our Catholic young ladies and gentlemen have a critical role to proclaim and to carry out their mission and beliefs as taught through the Gospel and Scriptures.

We continue to update and beautify our facilities. Our summer projects are many, including the creation of a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Music) lab. This is a significant renovation to our campus. We are so excited to move “full STEAM ahead” on this innovative project. We look forward to its grand opening this fall. Thank you to all our sponsors, including Mrs. Dianne Gonzalez. We are blessed to have such tremendous support of our parishioners and community. We are looking forward to our grand opening on September 26.

Thank you, St. Kieran families, for your support and dedication to Catholic education. We greatly appreciate you!
